Delegation led by CUSV Chairman Vardiabasis visited Beiijng from May 20 through May 22. The group consists of EMBA students from Pepperdine University are tied to top U.S. and international companies like IBM, Toyota, Srixon, Edward Lifesciences, AT&T, UPS, Raytheon, Danon Foods, Chevron, Comerica Bank, Stanford Credit Union, VWR International, and Saint Consulting. Over the 2+ days, the group visited Renmin University (No. 1 Ranked in Finance in China), COFCO's JoyCity (No. 1 Mall in China), Beijing Urban Construction Group (Builder of Birds' Nest, T3 Airport, Chairman Mao Memorial), China Investment Association, and World Carnival Group (Top Children and Family Entertainment Company in China). The group also heard speeches from Yide Ma (one of 10 outstanding persons in China), Qiang Bai (owner of two publicly traded companies in U.S. and China), Peng Zhao (OxBridge Education Chairman), and YuFu Cheng (CUSV Environmental Advisor/ R20 China Director).
